Douglas Adams

Douglas Noel Adams was an English author, scriptwriter, essayist, humorist, satirist and dramatist. Adams is best known for his series "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", which started as a radio series and subsequently developed into a series of five books that sold more than 15 million copies during his lifetime.

Due to its success, it was developed into a series of five books that sold over 15 million copies in his lifetime and generated a television series, several stage plays, comics, a computer game, and a feature film. His other successful works include the Dirk Gently novels. Adams died unexpectedly in 2001 from a heart attack at the age of 49.
